Happy Salami Day!
It may not be very well known but today is the universal day to celebrate salami. This traditionally Italian meat is typically made out of either beef or pork. Salami is fermented and air dried to give it a unique taste like no other.
This cheap yet tasty meat is incredibly easy to work with. We thought we’d share a few mouth-watering recipes to try for yourself at home.

1. Muffaletta Sandwich
This sandwich is originally from New Orleans in America and looks divine! A cheaper and easier (but probably not as tasty) alternative to the olive spread would be a nice pesto. We also thought about using mozzarella for the cheese too.
