Today is National Lemonade Day- hurray! What better beverage to refresh you in these erm, hot summer days, or comfort you when it’s raining outside and you’re soothing a hangover. Here are a few of our favourite variations on the classic.
To make a jug of original lemonade you will need:
3 chopped lemons,
1 litre of cold water (still or soda depending on your fizz preference)
140g caster sugar
Blend the lemons, sugar and half the water in a food processor, then pour the mixture into a sieve over your jug.
Top with remaining water and garnish with lemon - easy!
