Oh what a great time to be a Foals fan. New album out, UK tour announced. What more could you ask for?

 

Their latest album ‘What Went Down’ has woken up the rock scene and set it alight. It seems an age since Holy Fire was released on 2013 and since then the guys have been touring here, there and everywhere. Opening with title track ‘What Went Down’ the record sets you up for a rollercoaster of emotions and gently bringing you down with the last track ‘Knife in the Ocean’ which resonates sounds of fan favourite ‘Spanish Sahara’. Following up the opening track with the popular single ‘Mountain at my Gates’ the album begins with energy, aggression and the tasty plucky riffs that seem to be following Foals where ever they go. The dynamistic record eases off and lets you relax for tracks like ‘Give it all’ and ‘London Thunder’. After this record I don’t see the group slowing down anytime soon and should be exciting mammoth crowds for years to come.

 

If you’re lucky enough to have bagged a ticket for their upcoming tour (dates below) then get ready for one crazy ass night. The band tore up Reading and Leeds as the secret act and left fans salivating for what’s to come during the upcoming tour.
