Heading to Latitude this weekend? Fab. You won’t be disappointed I assure you.
The festival never ceases to amaze its attendees with the vibrancy of the site, the vivid colours and amazing spectacles. It’s an event for all the family to enjoy as well as having one of the best lineups of this year's summer festival scene.
To give ya’ll a heads up, we’ve compiled a list of 5 acts you just gotta see at this year’s Latitude. You’ll see that the BBC Music Stage has a lot to offer and will allow you to show off your musical knowledge to all your hip and cool friends.
Maggie Rogers - Saturday, BBC Music Stage, 4:10pm – 4:50pm
Rogers, a banjo playing producer straight outta Maryland, now based in Brooklyn has captured the eye of an ever-growing fan base. Many know that she first hit the limelight after going viral as she sat down with Pharrell Williams to show off her track ‘Alaska’. If you get round to the BBC Music Stage on Saturday at 4:10pm you’ll be sure to have a great boogie with a fantastic crowd. You’re welcome guys.

Lemon Twigs – Saturday, BBC Music Stage, 5:20pm – 6:20pm
The Lemon Twigs. Ah, The Lemon Twigs. Made up of the two D’Addario brothers, Brian & Michael and supported by the accompaniment of Daniel on keys and Megan on bass. The band have been going from strength to strength since their debut release of ‘Do Hollywood’ on 14th of October.
The Glam Rock duo will give you a taste of what’s to come for a band with a huge future. Their confidence shines through their sets and allows them to really explore the stage and your minds.
Expect drumstick twizzling, leg kicking and a whole lotta fun. The band are able to take their youthful exuberance and unapologetically combine it with flavours of the swingin’ 60s with shades of The Beatles, The Beach Boys and Queen.
The Japanese House - Friday, BBC Music Stage, 2:35pm – 3:25pm
Amber Bain, otherwise known as The Japanese House has just released her 3rd E.P. ‘Saw You in a Dream’ and once again smashed it out of the park.
Luckily for us Latitude goers, The Japanese House will be playing the BBC Music Stage on Friday at 2:35pm. You can expect a chilled and intimate set with some chances to really letcha hair down. If you weren’t able to see The Japanese House on her latest sold out tour then make sure to get there early to get as close as possible. It’s a show that you’ll want to be as immersed in as possible.
Declan McKenna – Saturday, BBC Music Stage, 3:00pm – 3:40pm
2016 was a whirlwind year for Declan McKenna with each release being commended for his precise social and cultural commentary tackling some of the trickiest of subjects.
Declan will be taking to the BBC Music Stage to show off some of his great work where he’ll bring an entertaining and well produced mid-afternoon set on Saturday, so make sure you’re there people!
Sunflower Bean – Sunday, Sunrise Arena, 6:55pm – 7:40pm
Described as the coolest band in New York right now, Sunflower Bean will be sure to blow you away. Having supported the likes of Wolf Alice and The Vaccines, the threesome will show off their quirky New York Indie Rock vibes and is not a spectacle to be missed
It’s been well over a year since the trio’s debut album ‘Human Ceremony’ took the indie rock universe by storm. The band have been taking their crazy good live shows around the globe, which is why you should probably make your way to the Sunrise Arena at 6:55pm on Sunday and get them on your radar!
We hope this helps you out with who to check out while you have the time of your lives in Henham Park this weekend.

Enjoy and stay safe friends.
